She’s from Germany and he’s from Kentucky, but together they’ve made Sacramento their home. After meeting through a running/beer club (first you run together, then you drink beer together!), they started their lives together one DIY project or outdoor adventure at a time. After a while, they brought a gorgeous, bright little girl into this world who now shares in their adventures and parties like her night owl parents! When it came time to plan their wedding, everyone knew it would be so ‘them’: outdoors, near/by/around trees (she’s an arborist and a trained firefighter!), friends & family, vintage-styled, with plenty of beer and, of course, Kentucky Bourbon. The locked eyes down the aisle and glowed with happiness at one another. The put secret jokes in their vows and laughed through their vows and then couldn’t stop for portraits, even the ‘serious’ ones! They just have so much fun together, and their bond is so visible it makes my job of photographing this special day for their family an easy one! Congratulations, Julia, Scott and little Parker!
